An 8.5X11 colored slickie brochure came in the U.S. mail today from Gabriel Giffords, our representative in congress, representing CD8. (Consider, how many hundred of thousand voters in CD8 received this piece of campaign literature, and was it paid for out of her 'war chest" or did the taxpayer pick up the tab?) She is still pushing immigration reform. What the president and senate can't solve, she will. (However, the back page of the brochure is what she calls a 'survey'. In reality it is a questionnaire since she is still searching for answers.)
But, she is going to solve the Border Patrol's problems. Here is a direct quote from the brochure. "I have formed the Checkpoint Working Group of community leaders to provide input to the U.S. Border Patrol on how to develop the best strategy to better secure the Arizona and Mexico border. The Border Patrol is probably going to be jumping with gee for this great assist (interference) in their business.
