Giffords cleaning up the mess??

In the 5 July 2007 issue of the Arizona Daily Star and article titled, "Union ads touting Giffords follow GOP''s May blitz" notes that this weekend one might be catching some television commercials supporting Rep. Giffords. http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/190486.php. The ads will be paid for by the Service Employees International Union. Here a quote from the ad: (don't laugh) "Last year we sent Gabrielle Giffords to start cleaning up the mess in Washington. Already she's been able to raise the minimum wage, provide expanded health-care coverage for children, and to fully fund veteran's health care so that no veteran will go uncared for."

As you know, Rep. Giffords hasn't quit campaigning since she was elected. The point to be made here, by reading the above paragraph, we can expect more and more half truths, lies, innuendoes and such from now on. Since there is no Republican candidate as yet for CD8, it is up to the CD8 Republican Association at the G-3 summit to get the word to the voters as to the deplorable tactics of this individual.

To find the truth, email all the voters that you know and have them simply address: http://www.therealdemocratstory.com/gabrielle.giffords/

We've received a couple ideas from folks outside of CD8 on steps to take to get replace Giffords with a Republican. If you have one, we're listening.

GGG = Giffords Gotta Go.
