Posturing and campaigning

Here's the scenario - find a train that has a lot of people on it. Catch the first car and then get into the front set. Yell loudly to get attention, and then pretend that being up front and getting all the attention that you are the leader.

In the 24 July Sierra Vista Herald a commentary by none other than CD8 reprehensive Gabrielle Giffords titled, "Southern Arizona: America's Solar-con' Valley. http://www.svherald.com/articles/2007/07/24/opinion/columnists/doc46a547377cb4b474936419.txt She really cried danger in the liberal sense of the word: "Sooner or later, climate change will touch our entire way of life: our economy, our health, our recreation, and our environment in the American West. If we fail to act, it could permanently reduce the flow of the Colorado River, lead to more severe, prolonged droughts and cause water shortages for tens of millions of people throughout the fastest-growing region of our country. Forest fires and invasive species will increase, and we could face an influx of environmental refugees from around the world."

Keep in mind that the use of solar energy has been explored for years and years and is a free enterprise effort. As you well know, when the government stick their nose into anything that is governed by free enterprise, they usually screw it up. But, like all liberals, Giffords wants government involvement. She noted, "I introduced The Solar Energy Research and Advancement Act of 2007 which will promote solar energy through a workforce development initiative and a dedicated research program. It has passed out of the Science & Technology Committee and will be moving to the House Floor this month."

Standby for more government involvement is this gets anywhere.
