Do the conservative voters really know the possible outcome of Rep. Giffords liberal voting? In the last email from the Arizona Town Crier, it was noted that she mentioned the government dictating teaching kids about alternative energy. Not being opposed to telling kids about the energy bit, but what if the government is allowed to dictate that, what else will the government dictate to teach our kids - how liberalism is better than conservatism, for example? The federal government should stay out of education. Curricula should be decided by state standards by a consortium of businessmen, educators, engineers, scientist, clergy, etc. And, for the government to dictate that HOAs, or anyone else, cannot forbid solar panels on the roof tops, what else, then will government dictate in the name of alternative energy? How warm to heat one's house in the winter? That comes under the heading of government control.
While these weekly summaries of her liberal voting record covers everything that come up for a vote in congress, it does cover bills passed, some of which are reported separately with cause and effect. But this shows very distinctly her liberal views and the party connection with the liberals. In this report there were 25 votes, of which 15 were bipartisan. Of the 10 left, Rep Giffords voted with the liberals 100% of the time.
